What I did for Valentine's

So, I decided,  I don't want to fall too far behind on my blog again. So until I can replace my camera, you'll have to deal with poor quality photos taken with my phones camera.  I hope you won't cringe too much.

So, as a last minute idea for Valentine's Day, I decided to pull out my scrapbooking supplies and make a bunch of little notes for my hubby while finally making use of these little dollar store animals I've had sitting around for a while.

Why did I have them? Why to try this! "Communicating through small animals"

Now while I don't have any little ones old enough to communicate with in such a fashion, yet. . .  I did have a cute idea to make little Valentine's that played on each type of animal.

Pardon the TERRIBLE handwriting -_-

Then after he went to bed I went and stuck them in places I knew he'd find them in the morning.

And here is a shot of the back of the Tiger's card. . .

And the inside of the Lion . .

And the Zebra. The Zebra being the big finale. . . (with more "bad but I really did try here" handwriting)

Regular Saturday Night Thing is an inside joke for us. See Roadhouse and MST3K for reference. . .
That was early morning.  The day ended with him coming home early and making an awesome steak and shrimp dinner! I had fun making these little mini cards.  It reminded me that I really need to get back into scrapbooking that baby book.
