I'm pretty pleased with my label design too. And I've so fallen in love with that font. I find I'm using it a lot lately. |
So yes, A Bird For Every Reason! And that is my aim. So far I have birds for . . .
Luck and for Love
For Christmas and for Christening . . .
(Or First communion, or Confirmation)
For Mom . . .
For Fun . . .
For any old reason you can think of!
There are big birds . . .
And small birds . . .
(4 sizes to be specific)
(Mini bird group shot!)
I even have an Awareness Edition!
Above you see the Brain Tumor Foundation of Canada bird, the Breast Cancer bird, and the Autism Speaks Canada bird. Any time one of these little guys sell, 25% of their sale goes to the Cause or Foundation they represent.
In the planning are birth date birds (I've made a sample with my Badger's date on it but it's not wired or beaded yet), and a Nana and or Grandma bird. A Daddy bird, and "tweet" bird. A blue jay, a robin, and a red winged black bird. And many many more. I will also be accepting custom orders! (as far as colors, words, and size. )
Keep your eye on the "That Thing I Made" Esty Shop as most of the birds I have in stock so far will be in there before the week is up.
And to help bring these little lovely to the public I'm joining in on Sew Mama Sew's
and offering up one for grabs!
This one to be specific!
Pay no attention to the crappy makeshift price tag that won't be included . . . |
He's a lovely light teal with a light brushing of copper on some of his edges. A little brass key and a turquoise colored bead in a brass spiral.
And here is where you enter to win him!
a Rafflecopter giveaway
So there you go! Birds! A Giveaway! And as I said before keep an eye n the shop as they will slowly be added in throughout the week. Thanks for tuning in!
Till next time, keep crafty!
Sweet little birds! Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI love red and aqua as a combo!
Hmm mabye I was too stupid to see the place where I was supposed to put in my favourite colour combo - but hey there is the last option so a 2 in 1 comment who could say no to that offer.
ReplyDeleteThe birds are great fun - so anyway back to the colours - purple orange and red - with purple being a must, and the whole thing in dark bold colours not pastels.
Nah it wasn't you. My first time using rafflecopter and I set it up at 2am. :P Forgot to check the little box to leave the answer. Sorry about that!
Deleteanything with green! It's sort of a signature color.
ReplyDeleteWell, let's see. Lots of people have asked about books so here's one I just finished: Broken Harbor by Tana French. She's a fairly new mystery author. I've read 3 of her 4 books and loved them all.
ReplyDeleteI looked for a way to follow your blog here, but couldn't find one...so I added to you my bloglovin roll call. =) I love your birds, the cardinal is great...the Joy one...and the one you're giving away. Thanks for a chance to win.
ReplyDeleteAh that works too! Thanks! :) I just added a little button at the top to make it easier to find the RSS Feed until I can find a better way to do that! Thanks for the heads up! =D
DeleteI love anything with birds so this is right up my alley...and I get an extra entry just for giving my little boy an extra hug?! How much better can it get :)

I love anything bird related - these are awesome!
ReplyDeleteThis bird is so adorable! Thank you for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteThese birds are so sweet! I am lucky to live in a very private wooded and prairie area, (woods on three sides and a small meadow on one side!) and we have all kinds of birds at our house from Cardinals to Wrens. We even had a bluebird family living in our grape vines last year!

ReplyDeleteHello from Minnesota! Eek - these little guys are cute and I just love bird-watching (black capped-chicadees are my fave.)
ReplyDeleteyour cardinal is so beautiful! <3
ReplyDeleteI've decided to follow you via bloglovin' by the way :)
ReplyDeleteOK. Let me get this straight. You're amazingly talented, very generous and funny to boot? You had me at 'hug' :)
ReplyDeleteSo who's going to get assualted with love (as per your instruction - that entry is a neccessity!)? My Border Collie puppy is always up for snuggles, but she's a little opportunist and before you know it she's up on your lap licking your chin and you're the one getting assaulted. So maybe later. Hubby is hiding in the mancave, so treading there will be hazardous to my health. So that leaves my older collie boy who is sleeping at the moment. I'll go lie next to him for snuggles. He's so great all sleepy - the leg just pops up for you to reach the soft underbelly ;)
Seeing what you get up to is going to be a blast.
Thank you for a great giveaway and the chance to win.

ReplyDeleteThese are brilliant, and I love the awareness ones. Such a great idea.
ReplyDeleteI love the awareness ones! My daddy passed away from a fairly unknown and very aggressive cancer called Multiple Myeloma. My daughter has since been selling Myeloma bracelets to raise money for a cure. Our main focus is bringing awareness so people now what they are up against. When my dad had it, it took us off guard since we never have heard of it. THank you!
